Alma Roberts
In fond and loving memory of a
dear wife, mother and grandmother,
ALMA ROBERTS
who passed away September 8, 1997.
The month of September comes with regret,
It brings back memories I will never forget.
Thirteen years have passed since that dreaded day,
When the one I loved was called away.
No matter how I spend my days,
No matter what I do,
Before I close my eyes at night,
I always think of you.
To me you were very special,
You were loving kind and true,
You will never be forgotten dear,
For I thought the world of you.
The roses I place beside you,
Are a symbol of how much I care,
It represents the lasting bond,
That you and I still share.
There's a pretty little flower,
Of pale blue tint and white,
It opens in the morning,
And closes in the night.
It's a token of affection,
And a pretty name it's got,
You will know it when I tell you,
It's the sweet Forget-Me-Not.
We miss you Mom and always will,
Deep in our hearts, you are with us still,
You shared our hopes, our joys and fears,
God bless you Mom, for those wonderful years.
We were there to see you die,
We held your hand and said goodbye,
Our last precious moments we had with you,
Will live in our hearts our whole life through.
Ever remembered, ever loved by husband Calvin and
children: Deon, Kimberly and Kelsey and their families.
