Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family on September 9, 2010, at the Salvation Army Glenbrook Lodge, Myrtle Dale, aged 89 years. Predeceased by her husband Elisha (1996), infant daughter Virtue, daughter Madeline and daughter Linda; daughter-in-law Elizabeth Dale and son-in-law Jack Woodfine. Left to mourn her children Ralph (Alison); Harold (Ellen); Marilyn Woodfine; Thomas (Dale), David (Lorena), Carol Ann (Wilf Waye), Valerie Earles (Joe) and Jackie (Bob Mcloughlan); twelve grandchildren: Rebecca and Vanessa Dale, Jennifer (Jay Layman), Katie (Lance Keve), David Dale (Monica), Peter Avery (Andrea), Roger Avery (Natalie), Kristi Briffett (Greg), Jonathon Dale (Jennifer), Aaron Dale (Rhea), Kelly Andrews, Amy Leavins (Tre); as well as twelve great-grandchildren. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. The family wish to extend a special thank you to the caring staff of the Salvation Army Glenbrook Lodge. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Rd. on Friday, September 10, 2010 from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday, September 11, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A further visitation will take place at Noel's Funeral Home, Western Bay on Sunday, September 12, 2010 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will take place from Noel's Funeral Home, Western Bay on Monday, September 13, 2010 at a time to be announced.
