Passed peacefully away surrounded by her family, at St. Patrick's Mercy Home on Thursday, September 9, 2010, Ina Green, at the age of 86. Predeceased by her husband Gordon Green (1986), sister Ruby Mercer (1997), and son Dr. Robert Green (2008). Leaving to mourn daughter Janet Trask (Fredericton NB), sons Geoff (Judy) of Clarenville and Gerry (Jane) of Conception Bay South; grandchildren Leanne Smith (Clark), Peter Trask, Gail Briffett (Roger), Adam Green (Neva), Jason Green (Nikki), Jennifer Green, Robyn Murphy and Jordan Green; great-grandchildren Sally and Sam Smith, Joshua and Erin Briffett, Naya Green and Brandon Fudge; special nephew Philip Mercer (Roberta), a large circle of nieces and nephews and her special care giver Rhonda White. Sincere thank-you to Dr. Larry Alteen and the staff of 1 South, St. Patrick's Mercy Home for their kind care and attention. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Barrett's Funeral Home. At Ina's request, she has been cremated and a private family service will be held at a later date.
