Passed peacefully away at Bonavista Hospital on Thursday, September 9, 2010, Sarah Thomas of Random Island, aged 89 years. Predeceased by her husband Wilfred; daughter Gladys Hefford; brothers-in-law Ross Smith and Malcolm Kendall and sister-in-law Jean Reid. Left with fond and loving memories her sons Boyd (Pauline) and Fred (Theresa); son-in-law Dyrell Hefford; sisters Alice Smith and Gladys Kendall; brothers Fred Reid and Ernest Reid (Marina); a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Resting at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville on Saturday, September 11 from 2-4 p.m. and 7- p.m. Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 12, 2010 from Central United Church, Random Island with interment at United Cemetery, Weybridge.
