It is with great sadness that the family of the late Louisa Dyke announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at the age of 98 years. She will be sadly missed by four daughters: Alfreda (Russell) Samms of Stephenville, Margaret (Wilson) Moyles of Stephenville, Nellie (Al) Hart of Ontario, Sylvia Belliveau of Stephenville, two sons: Frank (Jane) Dyke and Maxwell (René) Dyke, all of Ontario and 30 grandchildren, 78 great-grandchildren, a large number of great-great-grandchildren, as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Maxwell Dyke and her daughter, Josephine Hunt. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, June 6th at 2:00 p.m. at the United Church, St. Clare Avenue, Stephenville with interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville.
