Passed peacefully away at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Centre in Harbour Breton on Wednesday, September 15, 2010, Mr. John Arthur Northcotte, age 79 years of Hermitage-Sandyville. Leaving to mourn his loving family: wife, Judy; one son, Benjamin; two brothers, Ambrose (Ivy) at Hermitage and Wilson at Harbour Breton; two sisters, Annie Harris at Burgeo and Rosie Meade at Hermitage. Also, left to mourn is Judy's family; two daughters, Loretta Abbott (Brent) and Joyce Rose (Calvin), all at Harbour Breton; four grandchildren, Kody, Aaron, Marci and Mackenzie, plus a number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Cecil and Ivy Northcotte, and brother, Cecil. Funeral service was held on Saturday, September 18, 2010, at 11:00 am from St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church in Harbour Breton with Rev. Juanita Freeman and Rev. Charles Harris officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery at Harbour Breton.
