March 11, 1926 - June 4, 2009. Passed away peacefully at the Health Sciences Centre on Thursday, June 4, 2009, surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren. Predeceased by her mother Katherine Conway (nee Smart); father Thomas Conway; sister Bridie; brothers: Joseph and George; and son-in-law Leon Michael Dicks. Leaving to mourn her loving children: Robert (Gertie), Rebecca (Johnny), Douglas (Joan), Justina, Mitchie (Leon Michael Dicks - deceased); former husband and father of her loving children, Edgar Kavanagh; grandchildren: Paul, Robert, Rebecca, Morgan, Wesley, Cherie, Corey, Jennifer, Kate, Elliot and Adrian; great-grandchildren: Maya, Iliana and Makayla; as well as extended family members and friends and Mom’s special friend, Myrtle Dale. Many thanks to the staff at Glenbrook Lodge Home who loved her dearly. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation will take place on Saturday and Sunday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, June 8, 2009, at 12 noon from The Basilica of St. John the Baptist.
