It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gerard W. Reid, announce his passing at Charles R. LeGrow Hospital, Port aux Basques at the age of 61 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, wife, Joy; sons: Gerard (Anita), Michael (Kim); brothers and sisters: Lou, Larry, Wiff, Gary, Barb and Mary; grandchildren: Michaella, Daniella and Kaleb; niece, Kathy. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road, on Monday September 27th from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m., Tuesday September 28th from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Service will take place on Wednesday September 29th at 10:30 a.m. at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Father Don Leonard officiating, interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. Also at this time, the family would like to extend a special thanks to his brother Lou and sister-in-law Madonna for caring for him during this difficult time.
