NEW GLASGOW - Helen Jeanette McDonald, age 69 of Granville St., New Glasgow, passed away September 27, 2010 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Westville, she was a daughter of the late Alton and Katherine (Ross) MacDonald.
Helen was a member of Trinity United Church, New Glasgow. She had been employed with Riverfront Clothing in New Glasgow and also provided childcare.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond; children: Debbie (Joe) Boudreau, Bathurst, NB; Barb (Jim) Daly, North Bay, ON; Jeff (Rayna) McDonald, Calgary, AB.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Katherine.
Helen is also survived by grandchildren: Sean (Jessica), Matthew (Ashley), Jimmy, Sarah, and Kyra; four sisters.
She was also predeceased by three brothers and one sister.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation at the request of the deceased. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Webber-Cook officiating. Burial will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Aberdeen Palliative Care Society.
