It is with great sadness that the family of the late HELEN M. MITCHELL of Burin Bay announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Sunday September 26, 2010 at the age of 81. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories daughter Donna Murphy of Burin; sons Roy (Yvette) Mitchell of Revelstoke, B.C., and Edgar (Marina) Mitchell of Mt. Pearl; sister Ada Hollett at The Blue Crest Home in Grand Bank; brother Ronald (Betty) Moulton of Epworth; son-in-law Bernard Pike; 8 grandchildren James, Chad, Lori, Ashley, Heidi, Mitchell, Brian, and Barbara; 8 great-grandchildren Wyatt, Shealynn, Leah, Ethan, Sarah, Sydney, Sophie and Hunter; plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by husband Benjamin, daughter Judy, and son-in-law Ross Murphy. Funeral Service took place at Wiseman's Funeral Homes in Marystown on Tuesday September 28th at 2:00pm for Family, Extended Family and Close Friends Only. Cremation followed. In Helen's memory, donations may be made to Zion United Church Cemetery Fund.
