The death occurred peacefully at her late residence in Salt Springs, N.B. on Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010 of Clara "Annie" Cecila Perry (nee MacKinnon), formerly of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 73 years. Annie was born on Nov. 10, 1936 in South West, P.E.I. to her late parents, Percy and Kathleen (nee Baglole) MacKinnon. Beloved wife of Clifford Perry and loving mother of Don (Sharon), Diane (Rick) Schurmans, Vivian Luff , Blaine (Mona), Shelly (Carlos) Souse all of Ontario and Sherry ( Rocky ) Gallant of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by her 20 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Survived by her sister Irene (Jack) MacNeil of Saint John, N.B. and her brother Eric MacKinnon of Summerside. Besides her parents, Annie was predeceased by her brother Lloyd MacKinnon. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Monday , Oct. 4, then to St. John the Baptist Church, Miscouche for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Following cremation, interment will take place in the church cemetery on Tuesday, Oct. 5. Visiting hours on Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations in Annie's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Saint John Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit would be greatly appreciated.
