AGOPSOWICZ, Adam September 17, 1916 - June 1, 2009 Adam Agopsowicz of Regina, SK formerly of Glentworth, SK passed away on June 1, 2009 at the age of 92 years. Adam was born on the homestead near Woodrow, SK and raised in the Glentworth area. Following his father's death, Adam supported his family through custom combining and mechanic work. He married Amy Carpenado on November 17, 1941 and the couple farmed in Glentworth until 1984. Adam and Amy retired to Moose Jaw and spent many happy years together. In 2000 Amy passed away and Adam continued to live in Moose Jaw until 2005, at which time Adam moved to Regina to be closer to his family. Adam was predeceased by his parents John and Mary Agopsowicz; his loving wife Amy; two brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his children Donald of Toronto, ON, Walter (Carole) of Assiniboia, SK, Debbie (Guy) Lizee of Regina, SK and Darrell (Tammy) of Regina, SK; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; his brother Tony (Ann) of New Sarepta, AB; sisters Veronica Lane of Calgary, AB, Johanna Lagasse of Barrhead, AB and Frances Hankins of Hood River, Oregon, USA. A FUNERAL SERVICE was held on Friday, June 5, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK with Rev. Fr. Stephen Bill as the celebrant. Interment will follow at a later date in the Glentworth Roman Catholic Cemetery.
