Kimberly MacDonald
Kimberly J. MacDonald of Harvey, NB passed away September 29, 2010 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer. Kim was born in Fredericton, NB on January 7, 1965, a daughter of Mable MacDonald and the late John MacDonald.
Kim worked as a custodian at UNB and the Harvey Rec Centre, She was a great wife, mother, step-mother, sister, daughter and a friend to many people. She is survived by her husband, Gary Nason, Harvey; son, Kevin MacDonald (Shelley), Fredericton; mother, Mable MacDonald, Harvey; sister, Patsy King (Stephen), Prince William; brothers, John MacDonald (Valerie), Noonan, Robert MacDonald (Laura), Ricky MacDonald (Suzie), both of Lake George and Tommy MacDonald (Chantal), Harvey; two step-daughters, Brittaney Nason, Oromocto and Katie Nason, Fredericton; two half-sisters, Allison MacDonald and Jamie MacDonald, both of Shelburn, NS; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Kim was predeceased by her father, John MacDonald and a sister, Susan MacDonald.
Although there will be no visitation by request of the family, friends are welcome to attend the funeral service at Swan Funeral Home, 1826 Route 3, Harvey Station, NB on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Bonnie Wynn officiating. Interment in Harvey Settlement Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jason Tribe, Peter King, Laurie Anderson, Robert MacDonald, Michael MacDonald and Brady MacDonald.
