The death of Anna Mae (Goodwin) Manship, occurred peacefully on Thursday, September 30, 2010 at her residence. Born May 7, 1922 in Sackville NB, she was a daughter of the late Winnifred and Mary Jane (Rye) Goodwin. Anna worked as a psychiatric attendant at Centracare for 21 years. Surviving are daughters Margaret Ann (Peter) Dixon of Central Geenwich; Doris Mae (Raymond) Fillmore of Saint John; a brother Douglas Goodwin of Titusville; grandchildren Lorna, Doris, Daryl, Frank, Mark and Heather; great grandchildren Peter, Anna, Daryl, Tony, Brittney, Alicia, Christian, Travis, Danielle, Becca and Kathleen; a great great granddaughter Isabelle Taylor. Besides her parents, Anna was predeceased by her husband William Travis, an infant son Maynard, sisters Mary and Vivian; brothers Alfred and Norman.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424). Visiting hours will be held Sunday October 3, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held at 10 am from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Ext. Cemetery.
