Jessie MacDonald, age 88, of Cape North, passed away Monday, June 8, 2009 at Maplestone Enhanced Care Facility, Halifax.
Born in Cape North, she was the daughter of the late John and Katie (Morrison) MacLeod.
She is survived by daughters, Gloria, Connie, Florence, Margie and two grandchildren, Christopher and Shauna.
She was predeceased by her husband, Jack and son, Ian; sister, Annie and granddaughter, Kimberly.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 12, 2009 from 7-9 p.m. at Fillmore & Whitman Funeral Home, Ingonish. Funeral service will be held at Aspy Bay United Church on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Chris Matheson officiating. Burial in MacPherson’s Cemetery, Dingwall. Reception to follow at Cape North Church Hall.
