It is with great sadness that the family of the late Benjamin Cooper announce his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on June 8, 2009 at the age of 85 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Elizabeth, his daughter, Barbara (Roland) of Gaultis, his sons: Gordon (Sheila) in Halifax, Nathan (Dianne) in Ottawa, Calvin (Ruby) of Gaultis and Benjamin Jr. (Marie) of Corner Brook, 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren as well as a number of nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, June 11, 2009 at 10 a.m. at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Karen Laldin officiating. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy flowers are gracefully accepted or memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
