It is with great sadness that the family of the late Arthur Stanley Morris announce his passing at the Long Term Care Centre (DVA unit), Corner Brook on Thursday, September 30, 2010 at the age of 88 years. Mr. Morris was raised and lived in Robinsons and he served in the Second World War. Beloved father of Sophia Morris, dearest and devoted grandfather of Dylan and Matthew Morris. Also survived by sons, Maxwell and Phillip Morris, nieces and nephews. Arthur's wishes were to be cremated with no visitation. Cremation has taken place at Russell's Funeral Home & Crematorium, Stephenville. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, October 5th at 11:00 a.m. at the Robinsons Anglican Church, Robinsons. The family wishes at this time to extend their heartfelt thanks to the DVA unit in Corner Brook, his caregivers and especially Mary O'Gorman and Dr. Obeid.
