It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gervase Lee announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Sunday, October 3, 2010 at the age of 71 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Vivian and three sons: Harold (Pansy) Lee of York Harbour, Todd (Binie) Lee of Ontario, Shawn Lee of Ontario; three daughters: Shirley Lee of Kippens, Lisa (Tommy) Blanchard of Ontario, Belinda Lee (Leo Young) of St. George's; two brothers: George (Dianne) Lee of St. John's, Johnny Lee of West Bay; ten grandchildren: Marvin Lee (Angie), Jeremy Lee, Cindi Lee, Alicia Abedi (Ahmed), Melanie Lee, Nikita Byrne, Chad Blanchard, Andrew Lee, Jay Lee, Bryten Lee; six great-grandchildren: Colby Lee, Logan Lee, Landon Lee, Noah Abedi, Presley Abedi, Latoya Lee and a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, George and Theresa Lee, five brothers and two sisters. Friends may call at the Maria Regina Parish, Port au Port East from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday. Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, October 6th at 2:00 p.m. at the Maria Regina Parish, Port au Port East with interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Port au Port East. As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of one's choice would be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements are under the supervision of Russell's Funeral Home, Stephenville.
