1929 - 2010 - Joseph Maillet, 81 of Moncton and formerly of Saint-Paul, passed away on Monday October 4th, 2010 at the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital, with his sister in law Laurina and his niece Athelene by his side. Born in Rogersville on March 16th, 1929, he was the son of the late Fred and the late Alice (Richard) Maillet. Joseph was employed as a section man with the Canadian National for over 20 years. He leaves to mourn his six children, Linda, Brenda, Patty, Joanne, Clarence and Ronald, two sisters, Lina Cormier (Léo) and Rita Poirier (Sam), and one brother Lévi (Laurina) all of Moncton, and several nephews and nieces. Joseph was predeceased by three brothers, Wilfred, René and Adolphe and one sister Alma.
At the request of Mr Maillet there will be no viewing at the funeral home. Family and friends will meet for the Funeral Mass on Wednesday, October 6th, 2010 at 11:00 am at the Notre-Dame du Sacré Coeur Roman Catholic Church, Notre-Dame.
