Donald "Don" I. Dryden, 75, of McKees Mills and formerly of Moncton, passed away suddenly at his residence on Saturday evening, October 2, 2010. A longtime resident of Moncton, Don was the son of the late Clarence and Emma (Atkinson) Dryden. Don was a retired sales agent with over 40 years service and was a member and Past Exalted Ruler of Moncton Elks Lodge # 229. He was a private pilot and a longtime member of the Moncton Flying Club and in past years, enjoyed curling, golfing, boating and socializing with his family and friends. Don will be sadly missed by his wife of over 33 years, Marilyn (Moorcroft); stepchildren, MaryJane Dekker, Riverview, Trevor Carson, Moncton; grandchildren, Amanda, Bradley, Erin, Jackson; brother, Douglas (Gwen), Milton, ON; niece, Wendy and nephew, Kevin. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Carolyn (Cripps) (1976).
Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Wednesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. All are welcome to join the Celebration of Life for Don to be held at the family residence in McKees Mills on Thursday, October 7, 2010 from 1:00 to 5:00 pm.
