Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010, Margaret I. Udell Adams of Carbonear, in her 100th year. Predeceased by husband Jack Adams, parents John and Mabel Udell; brothers: Graham, John, William and Alec; sisters: Emma, Mary and Dorothy. Leaving to mourn with cherished memories are her brother Harold (Bernice), St. John's; nephew John; nieces: Marilyn, Jane (Phil), Elinor, Margaret (David), Janice, Joyce and Nancy; also a number of other relatives and friends of Elizabeth Towers, St. David's Presbyterian Church, the IODE, the Seniors Resource Centre, all of St. John's, the Community Library Corner Brook and Beta Sigma Phi. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear with visiting hours by request of the family: Monday, Oct. 4, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 5 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Funeral Service to take place on Tuesday, Oct. 5 at 2 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear.
