It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dorothy Serrick announce her passing on Tuesday, October 5th, 2010 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in her 80th year. She will be sadly missed by her loving children: Van (Priscilla), Tyrone (Carolyn), Kay (Mike), Hank (Dawn), Harley, Shelley (Tony) and Corey (Lori). Nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Her sisters: Florence Wilson, Marguerite Sutton, Joan Hewlett, Marion Rumbolt and her brother Harvey Squires as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Jim, sons Marty and Rudy, grandchildren Jimmy and Collette. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will take place on Friday at 2:00 p.m. from Parsons Funeral Home and Chapel, 63 Northmain Street Deer Lake with Major Wayne Pike officiating.
