Alyre Richard, 75, of Cap-Pelé, passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2010 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born August 13, 1935 in Cap-Pelé, he was the son of the late Albert and Edmée (LeBlanc) Richard. He is survived by three sisters: Lorraine McInroy (Ken) of Sardis, BC, Anna Seeley (Grant) of Baring, ME, and Judith Stewart (Donald) of Scotchburn, NS; a brother, Ernest (Donna) of Red Deer, AB, several nieces, and nephews. He is predeceased by a sister, Albertine; and two brothers: Omer, and Blair.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funérarium, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé (577-3297) on Wednesday, October 6, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Thursday morning from 9:30 a.m.The funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste. Therese d'Avila R.C. Church, Cap-Pelé on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
