It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Jacqueline "Jackie" Patricia Breau of Fredericton, NB, on Monday, October 4th, 2010 after a brief illness. Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Beatrice (Sullivan) Poirier and the wife of the late Gerard Breau. Jackie was a graduate of Saint Francis Xavier University and of Saint Mary's Hospital School of Nursing in Montreal. She was also a member of St. Dunstan's Catholic Church and the CWL for many years. The family would like to thank Donna Gordon, Dr. Claire Roussel and the staff of Windsor Court for the loving care you have provided. A special thank you to Jackie's many close friends who will never be forgotten. Survived by two daughters; Melanie (Gordon) Bowie of Fredericton, and Karen (John) Williamson of Nasonworth; grandsons, Christopher and Robert Bowie; close sister-in-law, Grace Theriault of Montreal; one cousin and many nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation by family request. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Dunstan's Catholic Church on Friday, October 8th, 2010 at 12:00 noon with Rev. Gerald White as Celebrant. Interment will be in the Hermitage Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial tributes may be made to the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital or the charity of the donor's choice.
