
James McLennon
James F. McLennon of Hanwell, NB passed away at the Doctors Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. The lord is good unto them that wait for him and it is a good man that should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord. Jim waited and in the still quiet hours of October 5th, 2010, at the age of 64, God sent his hosts of angels to gather him into his bosom. Jim was the son of the late Thomas and Catherine (Conway) McLennon He was born in Placentia Bay, Newfoundland, in his span of life, he worked as a parts Manager for International, then went on to become and end his career as Operations Manager with Lounsbury Truck Centre in Fredericton. He did not want to be referred to as manager but as a co-worker. He loved to travel and enjoyed golfing when time allowed, he was devoted to his family and friends. His wife, children and grandchildren meant more to him than anything, whether playing crib with Tommy and Terry, walking through the woods with Kaleb or on the floor playing with Thomas and Ben, he would say "oh the joys of being a father and grandfather". Survived by his Loving wife Donna-Lee (nee Seaward); stepsons Thomas Frances (Brandy) of Summerside, PEI, Terrence Francis (Rebecca) of Fredericton; three grandchildren Kaleb, Thomas, Ben and a fourth expected in December; brothers William (Maureen) of Charlottetown, PEI, Edgar (Edna) of GrandFalls-Windsor, NFLD, John (Glennis) of Badger NFLD, Thomas (Inez) of GrandFalls-Windsor, NFLD; a sister Bernadette MacDonald (Michael) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NFLD; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents and parents-in-law James and Frances (osmond) Seaward.
Cremation will take place. Family will receive family and friends at the Life Tabernacle Church, Hanwell Road on Saturday, October 9th, 2010 from 1:00pm until service time at 3:00 pm. Pastor Terry Messer officiating, with interment at a later date. A time of fellowship will be held immediately following the service. No flowers by request, James has chosen the charity of his choice made to the Praise and Worship Team" of Life Tabernacle, the group brought him much comfort with their ministry while he was ill or to a charity of the donor's choice. www.bishopsfuneralhome.com
