Passed peacefully away at the Hoyles Escasoni Complex, St. John's, on Monday, October 4, 2010, Beatrice M. Rogers of Lower Island Cove, age 95 years. Predeceased by husband George in 1987. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her two daughters: Emma Snelgrove, Mount Pearl and Sheryl (Robert) Bursey, Old Perlican; two sons: Harry (Judy) Rogers, Mount Pearl and David (Pearl) Rogers, Hare Bay; twelve grandchildren: Connie (Bert) Ings, Robert (Lea-Ann) Rogers, Rhonda Bursey, Trent (Heather) Rogers, Yolanda (Jamie) Collins, Scott (Melissa) Bursey, Vanessa Rogers, Phillip Rogers, Stephanie (Ian) Bickford, Stacey Rogers, Andrew Snelgrove and Cheryl Snelgove; six great-grandchildren: Laura, Alexander, Georgia, Noah, Emma and Evan; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at the Salvation Army Citadel, Lower Island Cove on Wednesday, October 6 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Thursday, October 7 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, October 7 at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Lower Island Cove. Interment in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Lower Island Cove.
