Hunter, Margaret Janet (nee Hall)

Peacefully in Ottawa, June 9, 2009 at the age of 90 in the presence of her family. Born in Truro, Nova Scotia, to William and Violetta Hall. Loving wife of 58 years of the late Roy Hunter. Dear mother of Paul (Ellen), Wayne (Sue) and the late Cheryl Christie (Sherman). Grammie to Travis, Shyla (Ryan). Jeff, Michael (Natalie), Christopher and Nicholas. Great Grandmother to Liam, Brodie and Gabriel. Sister to Florence Hanes (Elton), Bill (Betty) and the late Hazel Bonneyman (Clifford), Percy (Betty), Leon, Lorne (Amy), Leta Bagnall (Jack) and Esther Scott (Bob). Fondly remembered by brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews for her beautiful elegance, grace and style. The gratitude of her family is extended to the Staff of Bayfield Manor in Kemptville, Ontario for their dedication, humanity and loving care over the past 13 years. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday after 9 a.m. A Service in Memory of Mrs. Hunter will be held Saturday in the Chapel at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
