It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our dear husband, father and brother, Ray St. Martin, on Tuesday, June 9, 2009, at home.
Born in Field, Ont., he was a son of the late Germain and Yvonne (Beaulieau) St. Martin.
Ray was employed as a chef in the Canadian Navy and later as a transport trailer driver. He spent many years in Sudbury, Ont., before retiring to Cape Breton just three years ago.
He is survived by his wife, Alma (Voutier) St. Martin; his son, Mike; and daughter, Colleen, both of Ontario, as well as several brothers and sisters, all living in Ontario.
There will be no visitation by request. A memorial service will be held Friday, 10 a.m. from the W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant St., North Sydney, with Rev. Jim Attwood officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.
