Passed peacefully away at Chancellor Park on June 9, 2009, at the age of 92 years. Predeceased by her husband Pearce King, brothers: Bernard, Arthur, Bertram and Phillip, sisters: Hannah Loveridge and Marguerite Vatcher. Leaving to mourn her sister Eleanor Baird (Elmo); her daughters: Marilyn Harris (Brian), Judith Bennett (Dermot), Eleanor King, Roberta Daniel (Robert) and son Phillip (Mary); numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Thursday, June 11, 2009 from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral service to take place from Barrett’s Chapel on Friday, June 12, 2009 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow in Harry’s Harbour at a later date.
