The passing of Billy Bubar of Nashwaak Bridge, NB occurred on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on August 24, 1957 in Stanley, NB, he was the son of the late Luther and Ruby (Douglass) Bubar. Billy was a self employed carpenter. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Billy had a special place in his heart for the children that surrounded him.

He is survived by his sister, Ellen-Anne Bubar of Fredericton, NB; chosen sister, Cyndy Buckingham (Lorne) of Kingsley, NB; niece and nephews, Ayoka, Danya and Kofi; special friend, Shelly Dunphy and her children, Jacob, Justin and Abby; aunts, uncle and cousins.

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Sunday, October 10, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Monday, October 11, 2010 at 3 pm with Rev. Kathi Zwicker officiating. Interment will take place in Nashwaak Bridge Cemetery.
