Peacefully, at Parkstone Enchanced Care, Halifax, Nova Scotia, on Wednesday, October 6, 2010, Sadie Frances Conrod passed away. Beloved wife for 45 years of the late Laurie B. Conrod.
Dear mother of Lucile Carver (Horace), Charlottetown; Bev Elliott (Phil) Halifax, Nova Scotia; and Burton Conrod (Connie), Baddeck Inlet, Nova Scotia. Loving grandmother of Robyn Elliott, Dartmouth; Phil Elliott (Cheryl), Ottawa; Jeff Elliott (Susan), California; Julie Lopez (Marcos), Calgary; Jane Dempsey (Mike), Ottawa; David Carver; Susan Conrod Bourque (Chris); Ryan Conrod, Halifax; and Michael Carver, Fredericton. Loving great-grandmother of Alexis and Liam Lopez; Allyson and Emily Dempsey; and Rowan and Leo Elliott.
She was predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Minnie Peppard; her brothers, Ross and William Peppard; sister, Florence MacKenzie; and grandson, Jonathan Carver.
No visitation by personal request.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church, Dartmouth, later in October. Interment in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens.
