James Gamblin
The death of James Edward Gamblin occurred on Sunday, October 10, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1960 in Saint John, he was the son of Mary (Hornecastle) and the late Frederick Gamblin. James worked for many years as a taxi driver for diamond taxi. His favorite pastime was playing cards with his daughter Natasha. Besides his mother he is survived by his loving daughter Natasha Gamblin, her mother Rose Gamblin both of Saint John; step-son Nicholas Maxwell of Manitoba; brother Thomas Gamblin of Saint John and his special friend Cheryl Estey also of Saint John. The family would like to thank the staff of palliative care for the kindness and compassion given to James and his family.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel, 230 Westmorland Rd., Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Following the evening visitation, family and friends are welcome to attend a celebration of James' life at the home of Cheryl Estey, 509 Ellerdale Street Apt. #8 Saint John, NB.
