Sunday morning, October 10, 2010, Margorie Patricia Elizabeth Alexandra Turnbull (neé Majeury) passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital of cardiac complications. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Christopher John Turnbull of Keswick Ridge; two children of her own, Michael Ireton in Calgary married to Joni Carroll, Sean Ireton in Victoria married to Cathy Puddy; two children by marriage, Oona Barrera in Nanaimo married to Amado Barrera, Jamie Turnbull also in Nanaimo, and one child by circumstance, Kathleen Ireton. Altogether Patricia (aka Mimi) had six grandchildren, Alexander, Callum, Duncan, Ben, Mac, and Amy. And one Goldendoodle - Sandy. She was raised in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, moving to New Brunswick in 1956. Seventeen years ago Patricia over came cancer (Hodgkins lymphoma). For someone who was on palliative care in 1993, she has lead a remarkably active life since. In fact, she lead a remarkable life by anyone's standards.
