He became a Senior Partner in the firm and sold out in 1980 when he moved to California to marry his wife, Jan. He worked in Los Angeles as a Commercial and Residential Realtor and in 1991 opened Palm West Escrow in Hermosa Beach. In 2001 Ray and Jan purchased their desert retirement home and began to take up golf and duplicate bridge.Ray’s wish was not for a Memorial, but a large, fun party to celebrate his life. He wants all of his friends to have a wonderful time and to know his only regret in life was not to be able to attend this party. A private burial for immediate family was held at Desert Memorial Park in Cathedral City.
