It is with great sadness that the family of the late Otto Cleveland Matthews announce his peacefull passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at the age of 85 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his loving wife of 60 years Margaret, his children: Marjorie, Harold (Marilyn), Arthur (Rose), Marilyn (Howard), Raymond (Alma), Allan (Donna), Violet (Phil), David (Michele), Carol (Ike), grandchildren: Richie, Andrew, Patrick, Wendy, Amanda, Robbie, Julie, Brad, Angela, Tracey, Stacey, Kelly, Ian, Justin, Alicia, Emily, 10 great grandchildren, brother Ed Matthews (Minnie) of Hearts Content, sisters-in-law: Naomie Critch and Carrie Penney as well as numerous family and friends. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm and Thursday, October 14, 2010 from 10 am-12 noon. Funeral service will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at 2 pm with The Very Reverend Michael Rice officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to the charity of ones choice.
