It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Herta Marie Hutchings of Kamloops, B.C.; she passed peacefully into the hands of Her Lord on October 11, 2010 at Kamloops Senior Village at the age of 82.

She leaves to mourn her daughters Sylvia Deane, husband Dave of Blind Bay, B.C., Debbie Clement, husband Bruce of Kamloops and son Harold Hutchings, wife Diane also of Kamloops. Also surviving are six grandchildren; Theresa, Trevor, Christine, Marcie, Ryan and Katelyn and three great-grandchildren; Graeme, Scott and Sarah.

She was predeceased by her husband Harold in 1995, known to all the family as Gaga and her grandson Scott in 1997.

Herta was born in Gnadlersdorf, Germany on February 28, 1928 and moved to Canada in 1960, with her daughter Sylvia where she met the love of her life Harold Hutchings. She lived a full and rewarding life and family always came first, she will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family would like to send a special thanks to all the staff at Kamloops Senior Village for the loving care they gave our mother while she resided there.

It was Herta`s wish that no Memorial Service be held. In memory of Herta donations may be made to any foundation that supports the cure for Diabetes and Dementia.
