INGERMAN, Bridget Ann (Bridie) (nee Martin)– April 12, 1941 - October 8, 2008. Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of her family, Bridget Ann (Bridie) Ingerman of Paradise, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Bridie was the youngest of 13 children of the late Patrick and Gertrude (nee Fleming) of St. Vincent’s, St. Mary's Bay. She is also predeceased by 8 siblings, and her parents-in-law George and Marion Ingerman. She will be forever loved and missed by her husband Fred; three daughters: Beverly Erickson (husband Bob) of Hamilton, ON, Sharon Tucker (husband Mike) of Goulds and Cathy Walsh (husband David) of Fort MacMurray, AB; five treasured grandchildren: Yvonne Kendell (nee Walsh) (husband Ross), Bradley Tucker, Mitchell Erickson, Danny Walsh and Steven Erickson, as well as two beloved grandchildren: Thomas Kendell and the newest arrival Brooklynn Kendell (born October 7, 2008). Her memory will also live on in her sisters and brothers: Rita Halleran (husband Ned - predeceased) of St. Vincent's, Ethel Taft (husband Al) of Mississippi, Douglas Martin (wife Kay) of Hamilton, ON and Charlie Martin (wife Shirley) of Deer Lake and their families. She will also be lovingly remembered by members of the Ingerman family: Patricia Singleterry (husband Lawrence Putt) of Cape Broyle, Linda Hall (husband Richard ) of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Elizabeth (Toots) Hawco (husband Vince) of Cambridge, ON, Bobbi Drimmie (husband Terry) of Burnt Cove, and Doug (Buck) Ingerman (wife Carol) of Goulds and their families. Many happy memories are also shared by special friends Flo and Jim Barron, Pat Doyle and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, relatives and neighbours, especially those in St. Vincent’s, Wabush, St. Philip’s and Tricco’s Road, Paradise. At Bridie’s request, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. A Funeral Mass will be held at Corpus Christi Church, Waterford Bridge Road, St. John’s on Saturday, October 11th, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. Inurnment at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Caul's Funeral Home.
