1918 - 2010 - Annie Gallant, 91, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Friday, October 15th 2010, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital. Born in Tourville, QC, she was the daughter of the late Frank and the late Florine (née: St.-Pierre) Boyd.
Mrs. Gallant was a member of the Club d'Age d'Or de Dieppe and the Ste.-Thérèse parish.
She is survived by one daughter, Gertrude Gallant of Dieppe; two sons: Gerard "Jerry" (Denise) of Scoudouc and Jean (Linda Arseneault) of Dieppe; three sisters: Mildred (late Art) Ramalho of Mass., Patricia (Leo) Rymer of USA and Charline Boyd of Edmundston; two brothers: Gerard "Johnny" (Yvette) Boyd and Normand "Peewee" (Isola) Boyd, both of Edmundston; one sister-in-law, Thérèse Boyd of Dieppe; seven grandchildren: Sean, Chris (Crystal), Réjean (Corinna), Serge (Kristie), Stephen, Juliane and Martin; five great grandchildren: Amelia, Julien, MacKenzie, Cameron and Tristan as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Ben in 1996; one son, Antoine "Tony"; one sister, Gertrude and also by two brothers: Sonny and Patrick.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm and also on Monday from 10 am until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Ste.-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB on Monday, October 18th 2010 at 11 am. Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe NB. Donations to the Food Bank or the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital Foundation "Palliative Care" would be appreciated by the family.
