Lorraine E. Short, 50, wife of Gordon Short of Berry Mills, passed away at her residence on Thursday, October 14, 2010. Born in Rexton, she was the daughter of Cecil Spencer of Moncton and Grace Mitchell of Lakeville, Westmorland Co. Lorraine was a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister and was a very caring and best friend to all her family. She enjoyed camping, working outdoors on her lawn, gardening and animals, especially cats and dogs, and spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents and husband of 23 years, Gordon, Lorraine will be sadly missed by her children, Mindy Burke and Dawn Short, both of Moncton and Lisa Short of Berry Mills; precious grandson, Alex; brother, Terry Mitchell (Carolyn), Edmonton, AB; several nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law. She was predeceased by two infant children.
