SAUNDERS, Olive – Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home on October 8, 2008, Olive Saunders (nee Hewitt), aged 94 years. Predeceased by husband Roy (1992). Leaving to mourn three sons: Boyd, Mt. Pearl, Frank (Brenda), CBS, David (Leveina), St. John’s; one daughter Doreen Brocklehurst (Brian), St. John’s; also four grandchildren: Glendon, Craig, Julie and Laura and three great-grandchildren: Kyle, Ocean and Brennen. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Funeral service to take place at the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Blackmarsh Road. No flowers by request.
