(Retired Cook) April 28, 1916 – June 12, 2009. Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Centre on Friday, June 12, 2009, in the presence of his loving family, Bramwell Brace of Chance Cove, in his 93rd year. He is predeceased by his wife, Mytrle (1997), son, Reginald (1954), parents; Albert and Jessie Brace, brothers; Eleazor, Gordon and Samuel and sister, Mary. Leaving to mourn are his children; Shirley (Edmund) Rowe, Annie (William) Rowe, Douglas (Cavell), Dulcie (Keith) Banfield, Daphne (Robert) Ouwerkerk, Garry (Dianne) and Melvin (Sandra), as well as seventeen grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and six great- great-grandchildren. He is also lovingly remembered by sisters- in-law; Alma Ridgley, Laura Buckley, Josephine Tapp, Mary Smith and Mabel Smith, brothers- in-law; Richard Smith (Rose) and William Smith as well as a large number of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Resting at the Salvation Army Citadel in Chance Cove on Saturday, June 13, from 7–10 p.m. and Sunday, June 14, from 2–4 p.m. and 7–9 pm. The funeral service will be held from the Salvation Army Citadel on Monday, June 15, at 2 pm. Interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery.
