VIDITO, Edith Mary "Edie" - 65, North River, passed away peacefully Saturday, October 16, 2010, at the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born September 3, 1945, in Eagle Head, Queens County, she was the daughter of the late Beulah Leslie. Edie is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years, Dwight Vidito; loving mother of Dorothy (Bill) Atkinson, Truro Heights and Dwayne Vidito, Truro; grandchildren, who lovingly called her "Grammy", Jeffrey and Suzanne Atkinson, Truro Heights; Goddaughter, Adrienne (John) MacKay, North River. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Graveside funeral service for family and close friends will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, October 23, 2010, at Blackmore Memorial Cemetery, Upper North River.
