Passed away peacefully at the Health Science Centre at the age of 77 years, Louis Glen Samms. Left to mourn with loving memories are his children: Judith (Russell), Glen (Jennifer), Darren, Dennis (Lorie), Joan (Charlie); grandchildren: Daniel, Nathan, Alicia, Jodi, Brad, Scott, Katie, Amber and Evyn; and brother, Edward (Agnes); his sisters-in-law: Ada, Sarah and Marie; also a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Louis was born in Gadd's Harbour and was predeceased by his parents, John and Mary Samms; his brothers: Reuben, Patrick, Jack, Tom and Jim; his sisters: Margaret and Mary; and his daughter-in-law, Louise. Visitation will take place at the Holy Spirit Church on Tuesday, June 16th, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., with a Memorial Mass to be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17th, Father Aiden Devine officiating. We would like to send special thanks to the staff in the ICU at Western Memorial Hospital for their wonderful care and compassion during our father's stay there.
