It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gwendolyn Hewlin announce her passing on Sunday, October 24th, 2010 at the Bonne Bay Hospital in her 78th year. She will be sadly missed by her loving children, Milton (Carolyn), Mona (Malcolm), Clarise, Sharon (Gary), Diane (Russell), and Michael (Trudy). Eight grandchildren Robin (Lisa), Michelle, Kerry (Hilda), Jay, Paul, Joshua, Mark, and Hannah. Great-grandchildren Keira, Kelsey, Adam, Andrew and Timothy. Her sister and brothers, Greta (Johnny), Doug, Lloyd (Vivian), Cyril (Nedean), Marie (Wayne) and Ina (Dave). Sisters-in-law Mona Little (Walter), Violet Hewlin and Eileen Hewlin. Her aunt Ada Johnson. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Gwendolyn was predeceased by her husband Michael on February 11th, 2001. Visitation will take place at the Anglican Church in Sally's Cove today, Tuesday and Wednesday where also funeral service will take place on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at the family plot.
