Donald LeBlanc

1936 - 2010 - Donald J. LeBlanc, 74 of Saint-Joseph de Kent passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 24th, 2010 at the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital Moncton. He was married to the late Lydia (Bastarache) LeBlanc (2003). Born in Bouctouche on June 28th, 1936, he was the son of the late Joseph and the late Mélina (Caissie) LeBlanc. He will be sadly missed by his seven children, Jeanne Richard (Ronald), Donalda Cormier (Roland), Huberte LeBlanc (Rhéal) all of Saint-Paul, Marina LeBlanc (Guy Maillet) of Sainte-Marie de Kent, Fernand (Stella) of Saint-Antoine, Jacques (Joanne) of Grand Barachois, Marcel (Réjeanne) of Bouctouche, ten grandchildren, Chantale, Sylvette, Nathalie, Cynthia, Rebecca, Jérémie, Janelle, Josée, Janic, Mathieu and two great grandchildren, Lukas and Megan. He also leaves to mourn his four sisters, Odila LeBlanc of Shediac, Yvonisse Bourque (Alonzo) of Grande-Digue, Bessie Robichaud (Josephat) of Cocagne, Laura LeBlanc of Fitshburg, MA, and a friend Irène Allain of Bouctouche, and several nephews and nieces. Donald was predeceased by one son David (1985), two sisters, Irène and Itha and three brothers, Willie, Arthur and Léonard.
Visitation will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l'église, Bouctouche on Wednesday, October 27th, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Thursday, October 28th from 12:30 to 1:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, October 28th, 2010 at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche at 2:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery. In Donald's memory donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Lung Association.
