PICCO, Gordon Sr.–Passed peacefully away after a brief illness on Saturday, October 4th, 2008 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, Gordon Joseph Picco, age 71 years. Predeceased by his darling children Judith and Craig Picco, parents James and Philomenia Picco, brothers Raymond Picco, Gerald Picco and infant brother Edward, brothers-in-law Arthur Stoyles, Martin Adey, Andy Anderson and Walter O’Brien, sisters-in-law Toni Picco and Myra Picco. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 48 years Maureen (nee Adey); his children: Karen Oliver (Bill), Gordon Jr. (Billie-Jo) and Jennifer Bonnington (Sheldon); his darling grandchildren: Jeanette, Nicholas, Courtney, Craig, Jessica, Cole and Connor; brothers: James (Doreen), Charlie (Marie), Frank (Barbara) and Wayne (Joanne); sisters: Mary (John) of New Brunswick, Carmel (Paul) and Doreen; sisters-in-law: Margaret, Maria (Matt) , Rita of Manitoba and Helen (Kevin) of Manitoba; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. As per his request, cremation has taken place. Visitation at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Friday, October 10th from 2 pm. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Saturday, October 11th at 10 a.m. from Caul’s Chapel. Inurnment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
