Gordon M Carter
Gordon M Carter, age 65, of Sackville, formerly of Aulac, passed away peacefully at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on June 11, 2009. Born in Point De Bute, he was a son of the late Murray and Mona (Farrow) Carter. Gordon was employed at the Dorchester Penitentiary as a guard for 16 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 46 years Joan (Burke) Carter, Sackville; sons Jeff (Darlene), Sackville, Nelson ³Brud² (Caroline), Montreal; daughter Jill (Weston) Jones, Sackville; 7 grandchildren, Crystal
(Jeff) Snowdon, Emily (Ben) Brennan, Tyler Carter, Ben Rosswog, Trish Carter, Emmanuel and Raoul Carter-Alain; 3 step-grandchildren Gatlin, Mason and Emma Jones; 3 sisters, Myrna (Charles) Haley Jr., Amherst, Donna

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, NB (506-364-1300) where visiting hours will take place on Saturday from 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will take place at the Jones Funeral Home on Sunday, June 14, 2009 at 3 pm, William Drysdale DLM officiating. Burial will take place in the Point De Bute Cemetery following the funeral service.
