It is with great sadness that the family of the late MAGDALENE POWER of Marystown announces her passing at the U.S. Memorial Health Care Centre in St. Lawrence on Monday October 25, 2010 at the age of 84. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are sons Tom (Mary) of Marystown, John (Joan) of Marystown, Anthony of Medicine Hat, AB, and Wayne of Brooks, AB; daughters Monica (Morgan) Hannam of Marystown, and Magdalene (Alvin) King of Marystown; 18 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by husband Celestine, daughter Catherine, sister Elizabeth Pittman, and brother Tom Drake.

Funeral Mass was held at Sacred Heart R.C. Church in Marystown on Thursday October 28, 2010 at 10:30am. Interment followed at Sacred Heart R.C. Cemetery in Marystown. In Magdalene's memory, donations may be made to Katie's Cause - Pancreatic Cancer or flowers gratefully accepted.
