James "Jimbo" Gordon Cleveland of Kamloops passed away on October 17th at the age of 57 years at Overlander Extended Care Hospital in Kamloops after battling with Multiple Sclerosis for 27 years.
Jim was born in Kimberley on January 8th, 1953. He went to school in Kamloops and attended St. Ann's and Norkam.
Jim is survived by his daughters Ashley, Jamie and former spouse Denise. Also left to mourn are his mother Clara, brothers Norman (Lynn), Robert (Teresa) and well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father Jack and older brother Leonard.
In Jim's early years he enjoyed playing sports as well as traveling with his favourite destination being Hawaii.
Anyone knowing Jim knew he had a deep love for music.
A special thanks to Al Macquarie who was by to see Jim most everyday over the last many years. The family would also like to thank all who took care of Jim and to the staff of Evergreen and Liberty throughout his courageous battle.

A gathering to Celebrate Jim's Life will be held at Overlander Extended Care, Friday, November 12th, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. in the Gathering Place.
