Marjorie Fox
Marjorie Louise Fox of Woodstock passed away at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville, NB, on Wednesday, October 27, 2010, at the age of 91. Marjorie is survived by one daughter, Loverine Davidson of Woodstock, NB; one granddaughter, Donna Davidson-Slater (John) of Woodstock, NB; four grandsons, Brian Davidson of South Korea, Robert (Mary) Davidson of Meductic, NB, Blair (Donna) Davidson of Meductic, NB, and Terry (Tammy) Davidson of First Eel River; five great-grandchildren, Sarah (Robert) Powell, Jeffery (Rosaleigh) Davidson, Melissa (Sean) Pires, Krista (Ian) Grant, and Heidi Davidson; as well as seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews; She is also survived by one brother, Arnold (Amy) Dore of Lower Southampton, NB and one sister Alma Deegan of Vancouver, BC. Marjorie was pre-deceased by her parents, Peter and Carrie (Wilson) Dore; her husband, Amos Fox; one sister, Sylvia Ritchie; one brother-in-law, Roland Ritchie; and one son-in-law, Harold Davidson. Marjorie was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Branch #11, and of the Woodstock Anglican Church. Marjorie worked many years as a cook for various camps. She enjoyed playing bingo with all her friends, but her true passion was spending time with her family whom she loved very much. Marjorie was a great role model to all who knew and loved her. She will be remembered for her wonderful cooking, her young loving spirit, and her great big heart.
There will be no visitation by Marjorie's request. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 30, at 11:00am from the Scott Funeral Home Chapel, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB.
